Congratulations once again to the impressive Candlelight Hours as she posted yet another stakes score by repeating in the William Petro Memorial Stakes at Thistledown. Beautifully ridden by T.D. Houghton & expertly trained by James Jackson, the 5 yr old mare bested Windy Lu Who and R Three Angels in a time of 1:49:26 for the mile and 1/16th.
Candlelight Hours was bred in Ohio by Elkhorn Oaks Inc. who is also her owner. She is by Dominus out of Nava and both her parents were Ohio Champions in 2023! She herself was the Champion Female horse in 2023 & is off to a great start in 2024.
