TROPHY PRESENTATIONS TO BREEDERS OF WINNING HORSES THIS YEAR!

We shall see what “Tricks and Treats” are in store as the stars align in five tremendous Stake races on Best Of Ohio (BOO) Day at Mahoning Valley on October 31st. Is it just a coincidence that the “BOO” is on Halloween?!?! I think not!

77 Horses are nominated in the five stake races including past champions like Leona’s Reward, Mo Don’t Know, Forewarned, and Altissimo. Budding new stars like Esplanande and Alexandria are cross entered in both 2 year old races but they face multiple stake winners ready to establish themselves in their own right regardless of which races they choose.

New for this year will be Trophies for the Winning Breeders of all Best of Ohio races! The OTBO, under the specific direction of board member Tony Fischbach, have organized a “Toast to the Breeders” event. The breeders of all horses running will be recognized at the track on all video monitors. Each winning Best of Ohio Breeder will receive a beautiful trophy courtesy of  Ohio’s own Big Dee’s Tack and Vet Supplies who have graciously agreed to sponsor the trophy program this year. Big thanks to them for their generous support of the OTBO and it’s members!

We strongly encourage any OTBO members who can to visit Mahoning for Best of Ohio Day and support and celebrate all the horsemen and horses that make this day so special. You never know – you might come home with a real “treat” in the form of a very nice trophy.

Costumes are optional of course!!!

Good luck to the connections of every horse entered!
