Ohio Owner-Breeder Judy Klosterman Dies 1938 -2016

Judy Klosterman, a successful Thoroughbred owner and breeder, died peacefully at home on October 13 from complications of Parkinson’s disease at the age of 78. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ken, and children Kimberly Klosterman (Michael Lowe), Jayme Klosterman (Carl Shapiro) and Kenneth “Chip” Klosterman, Jr. and three grandchildren, Katie, Ellen and Olivia. The family-owned Klosterman Baking Company is one of the largest bakeries in the Midwest, and is in its fourth generation of family stewardship under the guidance of their son Chip and daughter Kim.
