Cat Trap, 3 yr. old filly by Cowtown Cat won the Aspen Stakes by 10 going away at Ruidoso Downs on August 8th. This is her 3rd win in 4 starts.
Note: Gabriel Charles, already a Grade 2 winner, won the Eddie Read Stakes a Grade 1 at Del Mar , He is by” Street Hero” out of the mare” Star of Atticus”. The mare is presently at Mapleton Thoroughbred Farm. She foaled a full sister this spring at Mapleton to Gabriel Charles that is an Ohio bred and is bred back to Cowtown Cat on a double A nick to him. Ohio has a full sister going forward that is a full sister to a Grade 1 winner! Next spring Ohio could have an Accredited foal that is a half sister or brother to a Grade 1 winner. Wow!!! I think this state’s program is on fire!
