Brig, a 3 year old  Bay Gelding by Midshipman out of Visual Arrest, by Pollard’s Vision captured the first running of the Darryl E. Parker Memorial Tall Stack Stakes at Belterra. Parker, a long time fixture in Ohio racing passed away earlier this year.

Morestride was second and Henry Mac was third. Brig is owned and bred by Mast Thoroughbreds LLC, trained by Bob Gorham, and ridden to victory by Christian Pilares. The race was marred by a gate malfunction that resulted in King B B, Alexandria, and Uptown not receiving fair starts and all being declared non-starters.

Brig stopped the timer in 1:17:33 for the 6.5 furlongs earning a lifetime best Equibase figure of 85 while pushing his total earnings over the $140,000 mark.

Congratulations to all the connections!
