Amadevil stretched her unbeaten streak at Thistledown to 7-7 in a resounding comeback victory in the Michael G. Mackey Memorial Angenora Stakes today. Stopping the timer in 1:09:68 she scored by 5 1/4 lengths over Wine Me Up Baby. Rollin All The Way checked in third.
Amadevil, ridden by Chelsey Keiser, was bred by Imagine and is owned by trainer David Wolochuk and Blue Snow Racing Stables. Her win today pushed her bankroll over $307,000. She sat just off the pace of Wine Me Up Baby and when Keiser asked her she swallowed that one up and cruised to a scintillating victory showcasing the ever growing ability and popularity of Ohio bred horses.
A tremendous selection of horses that are eligible for the Ohio program will be available at the OTBO Mixed Sale on October 19th at the Delaware County Fairgrounds. 115 horses have been entered for the sale so there is something for everyone! Who knows…you just might find the next Champion like Amadevil among the entries! Full information can be found on our website – Otbo.com – and a catalog will be posted as soon as it is available towards the end of September.
Congratulations to Amadevil and all her connections on today’s win!
